Cheeky Macaque monkeys from Bukit Lawang, Sumatra

The long-tailed macaque, also known as the crab-eating
macaque, is the most common South-East Asian monkey, and are one of the most
widely-ranging monkey species.

There are many macaque monkeys in Bukit Lawang who are used
to people and they often come to houses to steal or ask for some food. They
also commonly feed on human waste, being particularly likely to raid garbage
bins.
Monkeys are also sometimes very cheeky, as they steal
people's belongings, particularly when they see food.
